Eligibility:
The candidates need a B.Tech/ B.Arch/ B.E. with 55% marks in aggregate or a Bachelor of Science from a recognized University with at least 55% marks in aggregate.
Science graduates must also have studied Mathematics along with any one from statistics, physics, Computer Science, Computer applications, Computer maintenance or information technology as main or subsidiary subject in their graduation.
The candidates also need to have studied physics and mathematics at the Senior Secondary level certificate examination or its equivalent to fulfill the eligibility criteria of AMU MCA Entrance Examination.
Test Pattern:
The two-hour AMU MCA Entrance examination would consist of 100 questions. 50 of the questions would come from Mathematics & statistics, 20 questions from physics, 20 from computer science and 10 from Logical ability, deduction and reasoning.
Obtaining the Application Form of AMU MCA Entrance Exam 2010:
The application form of AMU MCA Entrance exam 2010 can be obtained by sending a request along with a crossed demand draft of Rs 250/ drawn in favor of the Finance Officer, AMU, Aligarh, payable at the SBI, AMU Branch (code 5555) to the Assistant Controller (Admissions), Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh, 202002. Candidates should also send a self-addressed envelope of 30 x 25 cms in size affixing postage stamp of Rs. 90/. Candidates should clearly write the name of the course for which admission is sought. Payment can also be made in the cash counter of the University.
Submitting the Application Form:
The application form and the demand draft should be sent to Admission section, Office of the Controller of Examination and admissions, AMU, Aligarh. Candidates should clearly write the name of the course in which they are seeking admission at the enclosed envelope.
