JECA is a written entrance test conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. It is conducted for the admission of students to MCA course offered by the various institutions in West Bengal. Private Engineering colleges, Universities, Government colleges and some of the institutes in West Bengal offer full time MCA course.
Eligibility for JECA
- Candidates who have cleared their Bachelor’s degree examination are eligible to apply for the course
- Candidates with statistics or mathematics in their bachelor’s degree are free to apply.
- Candidates appearing in their final year examination (bachelor’s degree) can also seek for admission.
- There is no age limit for the candidates
- Students willing to sit for the (JECA) West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination MCA 2010 may collect the application form by post.
- Candidates are required to send a request letter along with a demand draft of Rs. 350 to West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, Slater Hall Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah-711103
- The dd should be drawn in favour of “WEST BENGAL JOINT ENTRANCE EXAMINATION BOARD’ at HOWRAH”.
- They should also send a self-addressed envelope (26cm x 13cms) along with a postal stamp (Rs. 40).
- The request for application form should reach the office within the given time period.
- Application forms can also be collected from the selected branches of United Bank of India.
- The completed application form should be sent to the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board, Slater Hall Bengal Engineering and Science University, Shibpur, Howrah-711103.
- The application form should only be sent by speed post.
